Today would be the 15th birthday of a 14-year-old who effectively died while under our care. There was little more we could have done, but still, it was a horrible way to go. So I'm a little sad. I wish I had gone to the funeral.

My grandparents' dog died on Friday, my grampa accidentally ran him over.
