Comics.
Does this site need a comic section?
(My friend Aaron noticed we didn't have one.)

Are comics classified as actual writing?

~On one hand, there is a writing involved. Sometimes a lot.

~On the other hand comics use more visual means of telling a story, trough images.

~One can argue that the images make no sense without writing to acompany them.

~Yet one can also say that a shopping list also can have a great deal of writing and still not be considered actually "writing".

The debate rages on.

(By the way, this is a very quick example of the debate with comics. I do realise there is a lot more to elaborate on, such as the "creative" aspect.)

We need more feedback on this.

I don't see why not! Nevertheless... what's the final goal of the section? Because if it is stories of some kind other than jokes, they may probably be fit on other sections. Still, it may be interesting.

The thing is we don't have a the membership for it. Too few people. I'm the only avid comic reader I know here.

It seems like now isn't a good time to add it in.

Having it could indeed attract some people.

Perhaps. Webcomicers and such. However we don't want to have sections we never use. Thats a bit redundant.

That's what I worry about sometimes when I add new sections.

I think that worry of redundancy is somthing similar to when I reorganise my room into sections.
