I was wondering if you did anybody tried (or finished) NaNoWriMo last year, and what were your impressions about it? I indeed finished, but the second half of my story was a piece of trash.

Actually, I forget my excuse, but I skipped it this last year, and preceding year.

I think it might have been that I had no stories in my head at the time. It might have been the whole I-dinna-have-a-real-place-to-live thing. I'm not sure which factored in more.

What was yours about, anyway?

I must admit that mine was sort of a soap opera. That's why half of it went to the recycling been as soon as it was submitted.

You see, the story of this Guy who falls for Girl A, but Girl A rejects him, then, in the rebound he gets with Girl B for a while, until something ugly happens, he goes back to pursue Girl A, but he's rejected again, so, he starts dating, and subsequently marries Girl C, but things don't really work, so, they divorce, and a few years later, after years of not seeing each other, Girl A and Guy ran into each other in the city. As both are divorced, they start going out together, and Guy realized that Girl A was not the dreamed girl he had in his mind.

I know, that sounds cheesy, but at the time was easy to write (half of it is loosely based on personal experiences), but I realized that what I enjoyed more writing was the relation with Girl B, so, I think I am going to rewrite it focusing on that event, and instead of a 50K+word story, it may end up being just about 15K words long.
