News is forum related; ie new sub-section, format.
General Chat would be the place to tag up your news.

Well, it is definitely your prerogative, but just as Tramp said, there are just a hand full of active members here, so, I suppose it is a manageable number of people to keep in line! We all can think twice before placing something in the News forum!
